Paper 1: Continuous and Situational Writing
Students plan, draft and refine both continuous and situational writing. Situational writing covers letters, reports, articles, and emails written for a stated audience and purpose. Marks can be lost in content as well as language, since students must now contribute a piece of key information of their own instead of finding everything in the stimulus. Language can be tricky too, so situational writing is taught as its own method.
